The organizing committee would like to announce that the last date for submission of papers for presentation at the symposium has passed. The scientific program has evolved based on submitted abstracts by authors who have registered for the symposium. While appreciating the interest shown by researchers in the symposium, we regret that at this stage it will be difficult to accept any more late submissions.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (Registration & poster mounting)

Dear Presenters:

All those invited to the 7^th IOC-WESTPAC Symposium on ‘Natural Hazards and Changing Marine Environment in the Western Pacific’ are hereby informed that the registration will commence on 20 May 2008 at 4 PM and continue until 7 PM on 20 May 2008 in Magellan Sutera (Sutera Harbour). Those who are unable to register on this date can do so next day on 21 May 2008 at 8 – 9 AM.

The poster presenters will be required to mount their posters on 20 May 2008 at the designated place in Magellan Sutera from 4 PM to 7 PM. They are requested to complete the registration formalities before mounting their posters.
