The main objective of this project is to develop a Chinese character learning system that can be implemented with a learning strategy that accommodates each learner performance and hence provide a task-oriented learning system. Conventional classroom learning in Universiti Malaysia Sabah contains broad scope of syllabus which thus less focuses on Chinese character. By providing a Chinese character learning system, each student can focus more on learning Chinese character, take the lesson without time constraints, and do not have to worry on the speed of teaching since the system will adapt to user performance. Requirement of this system is gathered through study of previous studies on learning system and questionnaires. Besides that, studies on existing system are reviewed in order to compare and contrast the features provided in order to construct the best design on the proposed system. Other important informations such as Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) are also included to assist in the development of this system. Implementation and testing has been carried out for this system. All the limitation and future works of this system were identified and being recorded in this report.
