Postgraduate Information Technology Degrees

We offer postgraduate Information Technology degrees with the following qualifications accredited by MQA:

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - MQA/FA 7090
  • Master of Science (MSc) by research - MQA/FA 7087

PhD (IT)

  • Full time (2-4 years)
  • Part time (3-6 years)

MSc (IT) by research

  • Full time (1-3 years)
  • Part time (2-4 years)
Entry requirements for MSc (IT):
  • A Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the University Senate; Or
  • Other qualification that is accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; Or
  • Other relevant qualification and experience (e.g APEL/RPL) accepted by the University Senate.

For International Applicants:

  • A minimum score of 550 in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • A minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

For Malaysian Applicants, a minimum score of band 3 in MUET (Malaysian University English Test)
