OFFLINE HANDWRITING RECOGNITION USING ENSEMBLE FEED-FORWARD NEURAL NETWORK

The development of handwriting recognition has been one of the most interesting and challenging research in optical character recognition(OCR). There are many related research have been done by past researcher and an excellent result have been obtained. MNIST dataset that contains images of single handwriting digits will be used in this project to carry out the experiment. This project will divided into two modules: first module is image processing and system interface module and the second module is the Neural Network module. By the end of the project, a simple offline handwriting recognition system that combines both modules work will be created and described.
