THE DEVELOPMENT OF INVENTORY SYSTEN IN SECURITY DIVISION OF UMS

Security Division in Universiti Malaysia Sabah has store equipment and vehicle which usually use for the patrol and events. Security Division of UMS has requested an inventory system that can store and keep track of details of the borrow items and transaction in database. The objectives for this project is to design, develop and implement the Security Division Inventory System. This need to be able to keep track borrow and return items, record the vehicle maintenance report and print out the summary report. This project divided into ten modules which are Registration, Login, Borrow Equipment, Borrow Vehicle, Return Equipment, Return Vehicle, Vehicle
Maintenance, Order, Add Equipment and Add Vehicle. Iterative waterfall methodology is chosen for the development of Security Division Inventory System because it allows the developer identify the problem and able to go back to previous step to fix the problem and continue the development.
