ONLINE BUSINESS ADVANCED WORKSHOP - Final Presentation and Exhibition of Innovation in Technopreneurship project.
June 4, 2016 - An Online Business Advanced Workshop organized by ERDEC and Techno.Biz Club was successfully held at the Grand Borneo Hotel. A total of 92 students of the Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) and the Faculty of Humanities, Arts & Heritage under the supervision of entrepreneurial FCI coordinator, Dr. Aslina Baharum originally as a lecturer and advisor to the club participated in the workshop. The workshop was inaugurated by the Director ERDEC, Dr. Bonaventure Boniface and was attended by the Deputy Director of Sabah DIDR, Mr. Stephen Sampil as morning session panels. While the afternoon session panels were represented by the FCI Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ag. Asri Ag. Ibrahim and FCI lecturer, Ms. Nordaliela Mohd Rusli. This workshop is the final presentation and exhibition of innovation projects in Technopreneurship. A total of 12 groups fight for their innovative products and services. The first prize with RM500 cash won by Umbrella Revolution group with their product, e-Brella. The second prize with RM300 cash won by LED Team with their products, LED court. Third prize, RM200 won by eTinkers group with their service application 'Hangri App'. Three consolation prizes worth RM100 each went to product categories, namely Mozz, EZShot and Kingtech. For a culmination of the best promo video won by Nelumbo group. The prizes were presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ag. Asri Ag. Ibrahim. Closing ceremony closed with a advice speech by the FCI Dean, Dr. Ag. Asri Ag. Ibrahim.
