A workshop on Next Generation Sequencing and Bioinformatics Data Analysis will be held prior to the symposium. This workshop is limited to 30 participants on a first-come first-serve basis.

The workshop will focus on Solexa sequencing technology (Ilumina Inc.) to address applications in Whole Genome and Transcriptome Sequencing. An overview of Data Analysis the Bioinformatics Infrastructure required for NGS will also be covered in the workshop.
