The School of Sustainable Agriculture (SSA) was established on the 4th May 2006 with the aim of training manpower in the fields of crop production, livestock production, horticulture and landscape, and aquaculture who will become the trained human resource towards the agriculture sector of the country based on three main principles— Sustainability, Awareness and High Technology.
SSA will also play a role in developing and providing latest knowledge on agriculture through teaching and research. Through learning, research, innovation and extension of sustainable agriculture this school aspires to become a centre of learning in the field of agriculture.

IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT
The School of Sustainable Agriculture (SSA) will commence the 2011/2012 session officially in the new campus of Sandakan on the 12th September 2011 and existing students will be arriving in Sandakan on 10-11th September 2011. Transportation to campus SSA-Sandakan will be provided to SSA’s students at the bus terminal and the airport. |
