MONDAY, 03 AUGUST – A female staff of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) was one of the main players of the Sabah football squad to help beat Negeri Sembilan team 16-0 at the first game of the Tun Sharifah Rodziah Cup Championship in Selangor.
Jaciah Jumilis, a security personnel of UMS when contacted by UMS media expressed her pride on the team’s success and determined to continue maintain the high spirit momentum with her teammates.
“We will try to win every game and claim the champion title to ensure Sabah continues to dominate in women’s football in the country,” she said in high spirit.
Jaciah, who is also the country’s national player also scored two goals in the game which started at 4.45 pm last Saturday.
The championship is held for seven days and ends this Saturday. – (fl)
