MONDAY, 06 APRIL – Three staff members and a student of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) will represent the country to the Women’s Asean Football Federation (AFF) Championship scheduled for 1-10 May 2015.
The staff selected were Jaciah Jumilis of Security Division and two Sports Centre staff, Shereilynn Elly Pius and Mastura Majid.
Another member selected is Sihaya Ajad of Sports Science Programme, Faculty of Psychology and Education.
They will undergo centralised training at UMS Sports Complex tomorrow.
UMS learned of another good news earlier when the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) appointed UMS Sports Centre Director, Mohd Asyraaf Abdullah as the coach of the national women’s football squad for the championship. – SS (fl)
