MONDAY, 18 AUGUST – Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Centre for Alumni Affairs is tracking its alumni who have graduated since 1999.
According to the Assistant Registrar of the Centre, DK Rozlina Pg. Aliuddin, the government is currently actively tracking graduates who have yet to register and update their personal details in UMS Alumni system.
“What we hope is that each UMS alumni would have that sense of belonging and contribute back to their alma mater after undergoing a three to four years of study here,” she said.
She added, the Centre also planned to implement a variety of activities that will involve UMS alumni such as MPP Reunion, a Golf Tournament and Alumni Nite to gather all previous graduates.
“We also plan to establish a UMS Alumni Association as a platform for alumni to contribute ideas towards the development of the university,” she further added.
To date, UMS Centre for Alumni Affairs had launched six UMS Alumni Chapter in several zones such as Kota Kinabalu, East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Klang Valley, Lower Interior of Sabah, Labuan, Tawau and Sandakan.
