'10KM Fun Cycle' program

 

MONDAY, 1 April. More than 100 cyclist participated in the '10KM Fun Cycle' program that took place at UMS campus last Saturday.

 

The program was organized by the Water Research Unit (WRU), Faculty of Science and Natural Resources (FSSA). It was held in conjunction with the World Water Day celebrations celebrated on March 22 each year.

According to Head of Unit, Dr. Moh Pak Yan, the program aims to convey the message to the public on the importance of water resources and the responsibilities of all societies to safeguard and preserve the environment to support the sustainability of water resources.

"For that, WRU takes the initiative to organize a more exciting program such as cycling within the UMS campus so participants will have the opportunity to participate in the sport while enjoying the beauty of the Eco-Campus UMS.”

"In addition to cycling activities, coloring contests, exhibition, food stalls and health check counters are also available.”

 

Also present at the event was the Dean of FSSA, Prof. Dr. Baba Musta.
