About Us

Confucius Institute provides scope for people all over the world to learn Chinese language and culture. It's on the platform of CIEF (Chinese International Education Foundation) for cultural exchanges between China and the world as well as bridge reinforcing educational cooperation between China and the rest of the world. On 12 December 2019, Confucius Institute at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (CI@UMS) has been launched. It has become the first Confucius Institute in East Malaysia. The partners of CI@UMS are Chinese International Education Foundation, Changsha University of Science & Technology and CCCC Dredging (Group) Co. Ltd.
