Students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) participated in the Summer Course 2026 organized by the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), Indonesia, under the theme "Code the Future: AI, Blockchain & Cybersecurity." The international program was held from 18 to 23 May 2026 in a hybrid format, bringing together students, academics, and industry experts from different countries to explore emerging technologies shaping the future of digital innovation.
The Summer Course served as an international platform for knowledge exchange in three rapidly evolving fields: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, and Cybersecurity. The program commenced on 18 May 2026 with an opening ceremony officiated by Dr. Eng. Adi Wibowo, Vice Dean for Human Resources of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro. The first technical session, "Building Trust with Stellar: Blockchain for Secure Applications," was delivered by Indra Mahesa, Blockchain Specialist from RiseIn Indonesia, introducing participants to blockchain technologies and their applications in developing secure and transparent digital systems.
