DIPLOMA IN PROCESS ENGINEERING (OIL AND GAS OPERATIONS)
Malaysia has been an attractive oil and natural gas storage, trading, and development hub in Asia since few decades ago. The major oil and natural gas projects include exploration and production; enhanced oil recovery; risk service contracts projects; deepwater projects in Sarawak and Sabah; oil pipelines; oil trade; refining, storage, and transit terminals; Malaysia-Thailand joint development area; and natural gas production projects in Sarawak and Sabah. To meet this ever growing demand of human capital, the Faculty of Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Sabah has designed the Diploma in Process Engineering programme specialized in the oil and gas operations for producing quality human capital that capable to contribute in the industry of hydrocarbon. The Diploma in Process Engineering (Oil and Gas Operations) is a 3-years programme study which mainly covers the midstream activities in oil and gas industry. This programme is accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia through the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council Malaysia which is aligned with the Dublin Accord and allows our graduates to practice as technicians in the signatory countries.
