The Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah is pleased to announce that the First International Conference on Economics (ICE 2017) will be held on 28-29th November 2017 at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. The conference theme is “Economic Integration and Global Sustainability.” Academicians, practitioners, researchers, students and administrators from the private and public sectors are invited to participate and submit papers to be considered for presentation.

ACCOMODATION IN KOTA KINABALU
The city of Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Malaysia’s Sabah state located in the northern part of the island of Borneo. Often referred to as KK, it is a coastal city surrounded by rainforest. It is known for its bustling markets, modern boardwalk, beaches and the waterfront Kota Kinabalu City Mosque. It is also a gateway to Kinabalu National Park, home of the 4,095m-high Mount Kinabalu, the tallest mountain in South East Asia. The Kota Kinabalu International airport is the second busiest airport in the country after KLIA in Kuala Lumpur., . The distance between the airport and the city centre of Kota Kinabalu is about 10 minutes' drive. The conference venue, on the campus of Universiti Malaysia Sabah is about 16 KM from the airport. Accomodation are easy to obtain and can be booked online, for instance, via Agoda.com or booking.com. Hotel room price ranges from less than RM100 to RM800 depending on visitors' preference, and subject to season and travel periods .
