The Industry Training or known as Latihan Industri (LI) is a prerequisite for students in certain programs at all levels of higher education at the Institute of Higher Learning (IPT). To increase the level of the work of the graduates, the program was introduced to empower industrial training competency required. The industrial training exposes the students to professional skills and experiences in industrial practices. In preparing the students for the real working environment, industrial training helps to produce graduates students with technical and soft skills competency.

Industrial training can be done for a minimum of two weeks up to six months in departments that have been selected. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Science provides 18 Clinical Departments for training. In addition, students can also attach to the Administration Office, Academic Unit, Museum Ibnu Sina and Borneo Medical Health Research Centre. The Faculty has a large pool of high-calibre Supervisors from various disciplines that can be selected by students or assigned by the Faculty.
