Food Handler Training is a compulsory course for all Food Handlers as stipulated in the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009 issued by the Ministry of Health Malaysia which requires all food handlers to be trained in Food Handling and to be familiar with these Regulations.

This course is also recommended for those indirectly associated with the food industry to create awareness and gain knowledge of basic food hygiene and prevention from foodborne hazards.
Who needs to attend?
Those who involved in food handling in following sector:

⦁ Bakery
⦁ School/hostel canteen
⦁ Caterer
⦁ Food hawker/night market
⦁ Hospital/military camp
⦁ Home-based food production
⦁ Food court
⦁ Dining hall
⦁ Restaurant/ eateries/ cafeteria
⦁ Daycare center/ kindergarten

⦁ Duration: 3 hours training
⦁ Limited to 30 participants per session
⦁ In-house training with a minimum of 15 participants
⦁ Certificate will be provided
