Local Students:
UW00802 Appreciation of Ethics and Civilisations (PEDP) course, UW00702 Philosophy and Contemporary Issues (FIS) course and UW00302 Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Acculturation (APK) course are compulsory for all local students except for the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accounting (FPEP) students.
International student:

BEFORE 2020/2021 cohort:
Students acquire a total of six (6) credit hours after taking courses from the Compulsory University Cluster. The total credit hours for the University Compulsory Cluster are six (6) credit hours. The UW00102 Ethnic Relations (HE) course, the UW00202 Islamic and Asian Civilisation (TITAS) and UW00302 Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Acculturation (APK) courses are compulsory for all students except the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accounting (FPEP). However, international students must take Basic Malay Language Level 1 and Level 2 to fulfill the FOUR (4) credit hours in place of Ethnic Relations course and TITAS course.
