UMS PARTICIPATION IN MRANTI SUPERCHARGER BOOSTS ITS PRODUCTS MARKET VISIBILITY

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 AUGUST - Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) participated in MRANTI SUPERCHARGER at MRANTI Park, Kuala Lumpur yesterday. The UMS team was led by the Director of Innovation and Commercialisation Management Centre, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jidon @ Adrian Janaun.

The event aims to bring together innovators, business owners, social entrepreneurs, startups and spin-off companies. It also allows them to interact and engage with MRANTI as well as the Research & Development (R&D) and Commercialisation & Innovation (C&I) ecosystem. The event began with an opening speech by MRANTI’s CEO, Mdm. Dzuleira Abu Bakar.

UMS’ Investment holding company, UiNVEST and a startup, SF Green Sdn. Bhd. were highlighted in this event. A-yamli and VIVIFY amongst the products exhibited in biotechnology category. Also present was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shafiquzzaman Siddiquee as the researcher and founder of VIVIFY.

UMS participation in the exhibition has provided a boost to its networking experience, with more than 20 other universities, institutions and companies having approached UMS for a variety of potential opportunities.
