GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

• Higher Certificate of Education (STPM) or GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent:-
• A pass in GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent;
• A pass in the STPM or GCE ‘A’ Level or Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent with at least grade C in any three (3) subjects;
• A pass in Cambridge International Examination Test with at least B grade; -or
• Exceptions for English speaking country ;-or
• Exceptions for school/institute/college that uses English as the official language for learning and teaching;-or-
• A Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or score 500 points (Paper Test), 213 points (Computer Test) or 79 points (Internet Test) in Test of English as A Foreign Language (TOEFL) or score Band 5.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS); -or
• A pass in UMS Progressive English Program (PEP) with at least C grade in MUET;-or
• Any other English equivalent qualification recognized by Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

2. Foundation or Diploma or its equivalent:-

• A Diploma or its equivalent which is recognized by the Malaysian Government and the University Senate with CGPA of at least 3.00;
• 2.A pass in Cambridge International Examination Test with at least B grade;-or-Exceptions for English speaking country which is stated in MQA qualifications;-or-
• Exceptions for school/institute/college that uses English as the official language for learning and teaching;-or-
• A Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or score 500 points (Paper Test), 213 points (Computer Test) or 79 points (Internet Test) in Test of English as A Foreign Language (TOEFL) or score Band 5.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS); -or-
• A pass in UMS Intensive English Preparatory Programme (IEPP) with at least B grade;
• Any other English equivalent qualification recognized by Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

DATELINE OF SUBMISSION APPLICATION:

Application is open throughout the year for February and September Intake.

The university reserves the right to approve your admission into a program that is deemed academically suitable for you.
