“UMS ASEAN DAY”

Summary:
- The Student Ambassadors and International Students Association of University Malaysia Sabah with the cooperation of Centre for International Affairs proposes an event to expose or educate the students UMS about ASEAN (The association) and SEA countries.
- The event shall be in the form of an expo with info boards regarding the SEA countries and ASEAN. Each board will be handled by an international student if available (Those available are Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, and Myanmar). If not it is to be handled by a student ambassador.
Purpose:
- To spread awareness of ASEAN and cultures of other SEA countries.
- To involve students in this event.
- To improve international knowledge and awareness of students.
Activities:
- Information board
- SEA movie
- Electronic Quiz (With Prize, continuously throughout the program)
- Poetry Competition (open)
- Tidbit food from SEA countries (Some)
- Other games (TBA)
- Officiation
