About Us

Academic Services is a division that serves as an integral part of the university and is responsible for managing the recruitment, admission, registration, information records, examinations, student graduation and convocation, and all matters related to the services and activities of the university's academic affairs.

Academic Services Division is also the Secretariat for Senate Meeting and the Undergraduate Committee Meeting

About Us

Peace and security of campus community and its property is a very important responsibility and a priority. Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) is a large entity, has property in excess of RM2 billion and a vast area reaching 1000 acres with about 18,000 people at this point. This fact led to the University being exposed to various threats and challenges in terms of peace and security. The Security Division has been given the responsibility of implementing policies relating to peace and security.

Vision
Security Division as an efficient centre for security management of the University based on excellence in human resources and technology to achieve the vision of the University.

Mission
Delivers services that are Efficient, Friendly and with Integrity to ensure a campus environment that is safe from any threat and danger.

•  Enforce University rules and laws in a timely and effective manner.
•  Implement security controls systematically and continuously.
•  Managing efficiently the University’s safety on Fire and Health.

About Us

Universiti Malaysia Sabah Registrar Department is one of the departments that serves as a nerve-centre in terms of management and administration of the University.

The main functions of the Registrar Department are as follows:
·         Governance of the University
·         Governance of Human Resource
·         Governance of security of the University
·         Governance of assets of the University
·         Governance of Academic Activities

Goals
Efforts towards achieving excellence is evident through the Mission of the Department formulated as follows:
