182 Labuan Undergrads Successfully Held Premier Forum

sprm labuanTUESDAY, 2 DECEMBER – A total of 182 undergrads of Labuan International Campus, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMSKAL) had successfully held a Premier Forum titled ‘Di Manakah Kita?’ (“Where Are We?”) organised by Universiti Malaysia Sabah Anti-Corruption Secretariat (SPRUMS) Labuan International Campus branch, recently.

The moderator of the forum was Fadzil Othman from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) Labuan featuring panel members which comprised Shamsul Haji Salip from Putrajaya MACC headquarters, Dr. Zamhar Iswandono Awang Ismail; Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics UMSKAL, Ezra John Anthony as the Exco of Leadership and Training for Student Representatives Council (MPP) and Muhammad Firdaus Mohd Kushairi as the Exco of Lajnah Tarbiah and Education for Friends of  Al-Hikmah UMSKAL.

Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics UMSKAL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ag Asri Ag Ibrahim who represented UMSKAL Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murnizam Haji Halik was the guest of honour at the function held at the Lecture Hall Centre.

The aim of the programme was to discuss on the understanding of undergrads on corruption, the level of problems in corruption among undergrads, ways that undergrads can do to curb corruption and discussion on current issues concerning corruption.

Mohd Arba, who was the Programme Director said, this programme could help to unravel the confusion among undergrads in the context of corruption itself.

He thanked the Student Affairs Division (HEP) UMSKAL and UMSKAL Director for giving them the opportunity to organize such forum. – SS (fl)
