UMS Enactus Shares Entrepreneurship Skills With CCRC Clients

CCRCTHURSDAY, 19 SEPTEMBERUniversiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Enactus is dedicated to assist various communities in applying the entrepreneurship skills through the implementation of various community projects.

According to its President, Ilvenie Jemial, UMS Enactus through its Unfold project recently had assisted clients at the Cure and Care Rehabilitation Centre (CCRC), Papar to generate income through the implementation of My Kitchen course.

She said UMS Enactus through the programme had shared the basic of culinary skills such as the making of Coconut Shake besides sharing basic knowledge on entrepreneurship skills to clients of CCRC with the concept of Empowerment, Courses, Humanity and Opportunities (ECHO).

“UMS Enactus members had done a demonstration on the preparation of food and drinks which could be sold to generate income,” she urged.

CCRC is a government agency under the auspices of National Anti-Dadah Agency (AADK) with the objective to treat and rehabilitate drug addicts, to prevent relapse and the prevention of involvement of individuals with drugs. - FL
