Labuan Student Wins Third Place Sabah Motivator Competition

daniel tempat ketiga motivatorWEDNESDAY, 11 MARCH – Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Labuan International Campus (KAL) student, Daniel Lau Lee Nguong won third place in the Sabah Motivator Competition held at the Auditorium, Multimedia and Communication Technology Department (JTMK), UMS Kota Kinabalu, recently.

Daniel (pic), a third year student of the Faculty of International Finance Labuan (FKAL) who touched on ‘Action Speaks Louder Than Words’ took home cash prize of RM150, hamper and trophy.

Hailed from Sibu, Sarawak, he will represent UMS at the national level at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Serdang, scheduled to be held in April 2015.

Eight other UMSKAL students who participated took home consolation prize.

The competition organised by the Counseling and Career Guidance Division UMS was participated by 30 participants representing the Public University (UA) and Private College of UMS Kota Kinabalu, UMSKAL, Yayasan Sabah College (KYS) and Asian Tourism International College. – SS (fl)
