ABOUT US
The AI Research Unit (AiRU) at Universiti Malaysia Sabah is a cross-disciplinary unit comprising 6 research groups. Working in different subfields of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering:
1. Biomimetic Computing (BiRG)
2. Intelligence Signal Processing (ISP)
3. Knowledge Discovery and Machine Learning (KDML)
4. Nano Engineering and Materials (NEMs)
5. Robotics and Intelligent Systems (myRIS)
6. Vision and Language (V&L)
The AiRU is under the auspices of the School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) and is led by Dr. Ismail Saad of the Nano Engineering and Materials Research Group.
