RamadanCampus VCFRIDAY, 11 JULY – A solid support towards the State Government was one of the backbone that had allowed Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) bring changes on educational development to the local community since its inception 20 years ago.

This was communicated by UMS Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah while delivering his speech at the Ramadan@Campus event organised by the State Government and State UMNO Liaison Body.

According to him, with the backing and unwavering support from the State Government, UMS had produced 40,000 graduates who were now spread across the public as well as private sector.

“Let’s hope that the ties between the state government and UMS continue to be strong in providing a ray of hope to the people of Sabah in particular and Malaysia in general the importance of education to completely change their lives,” he added.

Located at UMS Mosque, the event was also attended by the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Hj Aman along with several cabinet ministers.
