He stressed that vandalism should not be happening among UMS students who were disciplined.

“UMS spent a large amount each month for maintenance and utility costs for the residential colleges, and UMS Student Affairs Department (HEP) is committed to ensure that students are comfortable.

“However, students should also jointly be responsible when using all the facilities provided and cooperate in the college activities such as gotong-royong (communal work),” he said.

He said this during a meeting with college students of residential college AB at the residence college’s hall.

According to him, the Department of Student Affairs also emphasised the personal development of students by implementing a programme based on goals to hone their skills.

More than 1,000 students of residential college AB attended the meeting session. Also present were the Head of Student Affairs Department, Raffie Janau and Head of the Residential College AB, Fauzie Sarjono as well as fellows of Residential College AB. – MA (fl)
