MONDAY, 22 JUNE – To increase understanding among its staff in the right materials preparation for a meeting, the Centre for Postgraduate Studies (PPPS) Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) held a Materials Preparation Course for Postgraduate Studies Committee (JKP), recently.

The course held at Seminar Room 5 and 6 PPPS was officiated by the Dean of PPPS, Professor Datin Dr. Mariam Abdul Latip.

In her speech, she called on all officers and staff involved to equip themselves with the knowledge, skills and responsibilities in preparing materials for meetings.

“Data accuracy and information are necessary for the preparation of documents for meetings as these documents are important documents of the university,” she said.

She added that staff should practice honesty and uphold to integrity while executing their duties in contributing to UMS.

The one-day course was presented by Senior Deputy Registrar of PPPS, Aidah Noordin who is also the Secretary of JKP.

The course was attended by all heads of sections and staff involved in PPPS including officers and staff of External Education Centre UMS (PLUMS). – (fl)
