UMS Labuan Students Satisfied With Contributions at SK Tampulan

Tampulan KALTHURSDAY, 25 JUNE – A total of 20 students of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Labuan International Kampus (KAL) held a ‘Jelajah Kasih Sayang Siswi’ Series I Programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tampulan, Telipok, Kota Kinabalu, recently.

Student Affairs Division (UMSKAL) Assistant Registrar, Mas Adi Alimin said the programme aimed to help students to hone their ability in communicating with outside community as well as fostering the spirit of volunteerism among university community.

At the event , UMS Labuan also donated school supplies including stationery, bags, uniform and cash.

“UMSKAL students also held training activities in groups, honing skills of SK Tampulan students in a variety of exciting games,” he added.

About 80 students of SK Tampulan were involved in the programme including 16 teachers and staff.

The event was also attended by the President of PTA, Martin Petrus and Principal, Paulus Duasa.

UMS Labuan delegation was headed by Escorting Officer, Mohd Fazlie Ardain and Vice-President of the Student Representative Council (MPP), Amos Peter. – SS (fl)
