Sahur and Iftar Programme Foster Ramadan Fraternity

http://www.ums.edu.my/v5/images/stories/berita_attach/Program_Jom_Sahur.jpgTUESDAY, 30 JUNE – More than 100 students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) comprising members of the Student Representatives Council (MPP) and Students Welfare Committee (JAKMAS) attended the Sahur and Iftar with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Student Affairs and Alumni UMS, Associate Professor Dr. Ismail Ali, recently.

Organised by the Department of Student Affairs and Alumni (HEPA) in collaboration with the Students Representatives Council (MPP) Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) aimed to strenghten ties among students, especially during Ramadan.

The programme was also seen as a way to foster unity among students and leaders along with residential colleges Fellows and UMS officers.

For a student of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Heritage, Asmah Kadir, this sahur experience with Associate Professor Dr. Ismail Ali and members of the residential college left fond memories for her.

The Sahur Programme held at Tun Fuad Residential College began at 3.30 am and was attended by the Head of the College, Dr Puteri Hayati Megat Ahmad.

Also held on the same day was Iftar Programme with Associate Professor Dr. Ismail Ali, at Anjung Siswa. – (fl)
