Iftar Ramadan, Teaches to Be Grateful in Moderation

http://www.ums.edu.my/v5/images/stories/berita_attach/Julai2015/berita_iftar2015.jpgTHURSDAY, 2 JULY – More than 50 Postgraduate students from various faculties of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) were present at the Iftar Ramadan organised by the Association of Postgraduate Students held recently at the Student Lounge, Postgraduate Centre Building, UMS.

According to the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies UMS, Dr. Hj. Amran Hj. Harun, the programme could foster unity among UMS staff and students.

Moreover, Iftar Ramadan also teaches Muslims to constantly improve themselves and to be grateful in moderation as implied in the Ramadan tazkirah presented by a representative of the Islamic Centre, UMS, Ustaz Nazri Petir.

The Iftar Programme ended with Maghrib prayers and Isyak followed by terawih. – SM (fl)
