The membership card, which is divided into two categories, the Gold and Silver membership was launched by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah in conjunction with the closing ceremony of the UMS Knowledge Culture Programme 2015 at 1MegaLab, recently.

According to the Chief Librarian of UMS, Dg Rukiah Ag Amit, the launch of the membership card is one of UMS’ social responsibility in implementing the Blue Ocean Strategy to promote the reading culture among the people of Sabah.
