THURSDAY, 5 FEBRUARY – The Alumni Centre Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) remains committed in reaching out to the university’s alumni through various programmes organised.

Recently, the centre had initiated the ‘Jejak Alumni’ programme by visiting all UMS graduates around Sabah.

According to the centre’s Director, Mohd. Raffie Janau, the visits were intended to ensure contacts between UMS and its alumni are always strengthened besides looking into areas for cooperation.

“We are targeting to reach 50,000 alumni and that they are always in touch with the university.  We have various other plans that require contribution of ideas and views of the alumni,” he said, describing that the programme will be extended to Peninsular Malaysia and most likely overseas as well.

He was speaking to media after the visits to some UMS alumni around Kota Kinabalu yesterday.

The Alumni Centre continued in its mission by visiting UMS alumni around Kota Belud. – SS (fl)
