THURSDAY, 27 FEBRUARY – The School of Arts (SPS), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) welcomes the registration of children between the ages of eight and 10 who are interested to learn more about arts.The class is a collaboration between SPS Entrepreneurship Club and Syarikat Anamika Sdn Bhd and offers programmes in arts such as vocal, Malay native dance, theatre, animation and painting.
According to a statement issued by SPS, the facilitators for the class are experienced SPS lecturers assisted by SPS students who are active in their own field.
The statement added that the monthly chargeable fee for the three hour class is RM100.00 and will be conducted every weekend.
The programme was organised in response to a call by the university to organise programmes which are not only value-added but could also generate income.
