WEDNESDAY, 17 DECEMBER – Universiti Malaysia Sabah Housewives and Women’s Club (KESUMBA) received cash donation from a transportation company, Maxfreight Sdn Bhd amounting to RM3,000.

The donation was handed to KESUMBA President, Datin Baidah Ibrahim at the VIP Room, Chancellery Building by the Manager of Maxfreight, Kamariah War.

According to a statement issued by KESUMBA, the donation would be wholly used for the club’s activities in future.

On another note, KESUMBA will be organising a Monsoon Camp coordinated by its Sports, Social and Recreation Bureau from 19 until 21 December 2014 for children of staff aged between six and 12 and also opened to outsiders.

The statement also added that KESUMBA will contribute food and beverage to be distributed to the Residential College’s surau every Friday night starting 19 December. – ZMD (fl)
