E-sticker pascaMONDAY, 09 SEPTEMBER – Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) through Security Division and Registar Department introduce e-Sticker system during the postgraduate students’ registration recently.

Speaking in a statement, Deputy Registrar of UMS Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPS), Aidah Noordin said, this is to enable postgraduate students for the semester 1 2014/2015 intake to apply for the vehicle sticker through online.

“The system advantage is to facilitate the students movement around campus during registration because the sticker can be used without having to wait for a week compared to before the system is used in the previous years.”

“This is proven when the registration day, 245 stickers have been issued,” she said while referring to the Committee of the New Postgraduate Students Registration Coordination Meeting (Jawatankuasa Mesyuarat Penyelarasan Pendaftaran Pelajar Baharu Pascasiswazah) chaired by the Deputy Dean (Academic and International) CPS, Dr. Patricia Matanjun, as the committee who triggered the idea.

Meanwhile, Aidah said that CPS is proud to help the students to fight for their lifelong learning culture, regardless of age and rank, towards increasing the educational knowledge and consequently making this university as the centre for the academic excellence with a global standing.

“CPS are thankful to the parents, families, individuals and organisations that have been helping and giving full supports to the students in furthering their education to the higher level in Universiti Malaysia Sabah,” she said.
