We are pleased to inform you that the Advanced Optical Materials Research Group (AOMRG) in the Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, along with the Frontier Materials Research Alliance (FMRA), Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology Society (MASS) UTM Chapter, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and Hi-Tech Instruments, Malaysia, are organizing a contest: MASS MICROGRAPH AWARDS 2023.

This contest is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their understanding on the micro and sub-micromorphology of materials. Only students who attend the 9^th International Conference on Solid State Science and Technology 2023 (ICSSST 2023) for oral presentation and physical attendance mode are eligible to participate in this contest. Participants may submit a micrograph through the link as stated below. Each micrograph must be accompanied by a description of the material studied.

Participation fees: FREE!!

Closing Date: 23^rd November 2023

All participants will be given a certificate of participation.
