What are the purposes of applying for the vehicle stickers?
The aims are as follows:-

  • To facilitate the Security Personnel to distinguish between visitors and from campus community for security monitoring purposes.
  • To ensure valid stickers are displayed on vehicles when owners enter the UMS campus. All vehicles entering UMS campus must have these stickers displayed prominently.
  • Action may be taken against owners of vehicles which do not provide a valid and official university vehicle sticker.
  • Every student is permitted to apply for one sticker only whether for a car or a motorcycle from the Security Office located at Security Division, University Malaysia Sabah.
  • Every sticker issued can be used for a vehicle only. Sticker must be displayed at all times.
  • Each vehicle sticker is valid for one year only.
  • Each vehicle sticker issued to student is charged at RM2.50 per sticker.
 

How can I apply and what are the documents needed so that my sticker application can be processed?
You will need to download at Security Division Portal and fill in Application Form and bring the following documents to the Security Office: 

        1. Valid insurance policy
        2. Valid driving license
        3. Valid matric card 

For international student, kindly provide the following: 

        1. Valid insurance policy
        2. Valid driving license
        3. Valid Matric card
        4. A photocopy of valid passport
        5. A photocopy of valid visa
