The Centre for Internationalisation and Global Engagement (CIGE) coordinates international mobility programmes at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) to support academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and global engagement. Through partnerships with universities and organisations worldwide, UMS provides opportunities for students and staff to participate in international learning experiences, both physically and virtually.

Mobility programmes offered by CIGE include inbound and outbound student exchanges, short term mobility program, the ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), and educational tourism initiatives. These programmes aim to enhance global competencies, intercultural understanding, and academic excellence while strengthening UMS's international partnerships.
