Sabah is situated in the North of Borneo. The state is full of attractions and experiences that make it the interesting part of Borneo. Sabah is blessed with a diverse landscape of tropical forests, mountains, and pristine seas and known for great natural treasures which include Danum Valley Conservation Area, Tabin Wildlife Reserve and Maliau Basin.  Some of Sabah indigenous flora and fauna can only be found in this part of the world. Sabah certainly is the perfect learning platform for Bio-cultural Diversity and Conservation.

Home to at least one of Malaysia most exciting cities, Sabah boasts one of the country’s most culturally diverse societies. Its population comprises of over 30 different races and over 80 different dialects, each group having its own colorful culture, tradition, festival and customs. For those who want to make their study-abroad experience a real adventure, there’s plenty of scope to explore, depending on  their field of interest.

Admission For Foundation

Application is through the Student Admission Management Division, Ministry of Education online at http://upu.moe.gov.my by selecting

Category A (SPM / Equivalency) for UMS Science Foundation Program (Program Code: UH0010001).

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS;

Malaysian; and Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination or equivalent to it recognized by Government of Malaysia with a minimum of five (5) distinction including Bahasa Melayu and pass in History subject;

 

SPECIAL PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

Obtained at least Grade B + in Mathematics; and at least Grade C + in three (3) subjects;

• Physics

• Chemistry

• Biology and

Obtained at least Grade C in Additional Mathematics.

and Open to candidates who are Malays, Pribumi Sabah, Pribumi Sarawak and the Orang Asli only

and Candidates are not color-blind and disabled members who make practical / field work difficult.

 

STUDY PERIOD Study session is at least one (1) year of not less than two (2) semester and no more than four (4) semesters calculated from the date of registration.
