TUESDAY, 17 JUNE - Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) was given the honour to be the host for the Deputy Vice-Chancellor/Rector (Academic and International) Committee Meeting, Public Higher Learning Institutions (IPTA) held for the 42^nd time today.
 

The meeting chaired by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, Prof. Dr. Shahrin Sahib had assembled 28 Deputy Vice-Chancellors of IPTA and representatives from the Higher Education Department, Department Heads of IPTA Teaching and Learning Centres (MAGNETIC), and Higher Learning Leadership Academy (AKEPT).
 

Earlier, UMS Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd. Harun Abdullah welcomed all committee members and held a photography session with them.
 

The meeting essentially aimed to discuss and share views on academic cooperation and internationalisation, in line with the intention to strive for excellence in that aspect in the IPTA. – MA (fl)
