THURSDAY, 17 APRIL – The Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language (PPIB) through the Basic Entrepreneurship Acculturation (APK) is organising a Blood Donation Drive which begins yesterday.

With the theme titled ‘Love Life, Save Life’, the blood donation drive is held at Level 1, Lobby of PPIB building.

According to the programme director, Law Kian Fatt, the blood donation drive will start from 8.00 am and ends at 6.00 pm today.

Speaking when contacted by reporters, he said the campaign is targeting about 200 blood donors in the two-day programme.

“In addition to saving the lives of those in need, the campaign aims to raise awareness and widespread concern among undergrads,” he said, citing that a drop of blood can help saves a life.

As such, all healthy UMS community are welcome to help make this campaign a success which is jointly organised with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital 1. – SS (fl)
