English Club Video Competition is a free contest organised by English Club in collaboration with the ‘Say it in English’ Campaign at PPIB. The aim of this competition is  to encourage students to speak in English and to boost their confidence using the language. It is a fun competition for students to use English without the threatening environment in the classroom.
Video submission starts at Week 6 (23/10/2017) and ends on Week 6 (26/11/2017)

SUBJECT: SPEECH CRAFT PROGRAM
 
Speech Craft is a free 4–session program organised by the University Toastmasters in collaboration with the ‘Say it in English’ Campaign at PPIB. The aim of this ‘nursery’ course is  to introduce students to public speaking. It is a hands-on course that provides feedback and practical advice on how to be a better communicator. The program also ensures an atmosphere of professional camaraderie that makes each session a unique learning environment dedicated to personal improvement, thanks to the diligent efforts of mentors from the Toastmasters Club.
Sessions will be held at 2.00-5.00 PM at Bilik Bahasa 5, Ground Floor, PPIB on the following dates:
 
  • Saturday, 28th October 2017
  • Saturday, 4th November 2017
  • Saturday, 11th November 2017
  • Saturday, 18th November 2017
 
As well as a Certificate of Participation, students, who attend all 4 sessions will receive student points for extra-curricular activities (subject to confirmation).
