2) International Conference On Agriculture Extension (AGREX’ 17)
International Conference on Agricultural Extension (AGREX) is a conference which has been organized since 2008. The previous conferences have been very successful in bringing together various stakeholders involved in agriculture extension. AGREX'17 carries the theme "Empowering Knowledge to Communities, Enhancing Food Security". It is hoped that the conference can be an effective platform to share efficient ways to extend knowledge in agronomic techniques and skills to rural communities to increase production and income.We welcome academics, researchers, policy makers,entrepreneurs and students to share their views and experiences.

SUBJECT: PROGRAMME/PROJECT PROPOSAL UNDER THE NBOS 8 INITIATIVE: UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION CENTRE (UCTC) FOR 2017 AND 2018

2.        For your information, the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) is inviting all universities to submit proposals for UCTC programmes/projects/ which have high impact by practicing the NBOS principles (low cost, high impact, rapid execution, and sustainability).  MOHE will only accept 10 of the best proposals from each university for 5 programme/project proposals for 2017 and 5 programme/project proposals for 2018.  Therefore, we warmly welcome all UMS lecturers to apply for this UCTC grant through the Centre for Industry and Community Network (CICN).
