SUBJECT: HEALTHY HEART RUN IN CONJUNCTION WITH WORLD HEART DAY 2019

Dear all,

Healthy Heart Run 2019 is a 3KM (fun run), 6KM and 10KM sports event organised by Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with Universiti Teknologi Mara (Sabah Branch), Persatuan Perubatan Desa Sabah (PERDESA) and Medical Students Association (MEDSTAS) in conjunction with the World Heart Day 2019. This event is organised to raise awareness for cardiovascular health and the importance of heart disease prevention.
Good News! The prizes for the winners have been increased to RM 500 for each 6KM and 10KM category. The grand prize of the lucky draw is a Mountain Bike!

Subject: Fun Run 2019

Manangkus Montok Takanon (a Kadazan phrase which means “Run for the Food”) is a one-of-a-kind 7KM fun run or walk aiming to celebrate our beautiful Sabahan culture.

Imagine a 7KM fun run course with a Sabahan food tasting station waiting for you at every 2 kilometers of the way, just WOW! Each station is a celebration of different Sabahan tastes, featuring  Sanggar Pappek, Penjaram and Tinutu Lengkuas!  It is a celebration of everything about fitness, fun, great times with families/friends and Sabahan food. There's a little bit of something for everyone, so come and join us!ALL REGISTERED RUNNERS WILL RECEIVE an awesome race shirt, a finisher medal, a bib, live results online  AND FREE ADMISSION to the post-race FOOD FESTIVAL (woohoo!) where you can eat more amazing food, have a drink.

This run also offers a Virtual Run feature for runners who prefer running on their own. They will also be provided with a race pack which includes a T-shirt, a medal, an e-Certificate and an e-bib.
