Conference Overview

One of the core activities of MASS is to organize its annual conference in order to allow scientists and engineers to interact and exchanging new or recent results or knowledge in the field of solid state science and technology. The first annual regional conference was organized in 1991 and since then MASS never fail to organize this annual regional/international conference. In maintaining such a tradition, MASS always adopt a strategy to invite universities to be a co-organizer. The last three MASS annual regional/international conference, i.e. for 2011, 2010 and 2009 were co-organized with UKM, UNIMAS, and UniMAP, respectively. For this year 2013, the co-organizer is the Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Conference Scope

The conference covers all areas related to solid state science and technology. For parallel presentation purpose, the scope is categorized into the following list. Author should indicate which area the abstract/paper was written for. However, the organizer has the right to move into different area if necessary.
