MONDAY, MARCH 11 - Borneo Marine Research Institute (BMRI), Universiti Malaysia Sabah will be organizing the International Seminar on Marine Science and Aquaculture (ISOMSA) 2013 from 19 - 21 March 2013. This seminar is jointly organized by BMRI, Kinki University of Japan, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Sabah Parks, Department of Fisheries Sabah, National Oceanography Directorate Malaysia, Jabatan Taman Laut Malaysia and Ko-Nelayan Sabah.
The seminar will include keynote address by invited speakers, oral and poster presentations related to the theme ‘Ocean Health and Our Future which will be held in two concurrent sessions on the 19 - 21 March, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm venue at the 1 Borneo Grand Ballroom, Kota Kinabalu.
The seminar has gathered over 100 scientist participations from various universities and institutions within Malaysia as well as from Japan, Korea, Iran, Canada, Australia, Netherland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines to share and discuss their latest research findings on marine aquatic resources and aquaculture.
