THURSDAY, 29 AUGUST – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah conducted a working visit to the New Residential College of this EcoCampus University.
The visit was to personally see the latest development of the residential college located at Kampung Darau, Menggatal.
During the visit, Datuk Dr. Harun also gave a talk on the final processes done by the developer, Syarikat Bina Puri.
The Vice-Chancellor was then brought to the surrounding areas of the college which was also part of the Angkasa Apartment Residential Project.
The Residential College consists of three blocks of apartments comprising 384 unit of housing that can accommodate seven person per unit.
Also making the rounds were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni, Assoc. Prof. Datuk Dr. Kasim Md Mansur; Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Shahril Yusof; UMS Bursar, Tuan Haji Rizal Othman and Senior staff of UMS. - FL
